Breakdowns and Breakaways is a podcast and newsletter created by Danny Shirey that focuses on five-time Stanley Cup Champions, The Pittsburgh Penguins. Danny was looking for a logo that would represent his unique analysis of the team through a blend of video and data. Together we decided a mark that communicated the tactical aspect of hockey would be the best approach to separate him from a sea of other analysts.
